Digital Camera vs. Film Camera
Digital cameras pay for themselves in no time just in film savings. Whether you print your pictures at home or go through a commercial printing venue, the savings you’ll realize by no longer having to purchase film are phenomenal.

For some people, the thought of turning in their old-fashioned camera for a digital camera is more than a little daunting. Those who are not especially technically inclined often do not realize just how easy digital cameras are to operate. There is no special knowledge required. In fact, many digital cameras work just like their film-based counterparts; you just point and click.
One of the tremendous benefits of digital cameras is being able to preview your pictures instantly and the ability to delete those that don’t turn out. No more spending money on pictures of the wall or your finger or those that simply don’t look good.
Of course, digital cameras offer the ability to upload our pictures instantly to our computers and share pictures with relatives. This can be accomplished with pictures taken with film, but the pictures have to be scanned first and the process is much more arduous.
Sharing pictures is so much more cost effective and involves less time and effort with digital cameras than with cameras that use film. In addition, with film, there is no way to preview your pictures; you just have to wait until they are developed to see how well they turned out.
Digital cameras make it possible to share life’s special moments at the same time they are happening rather than days or weeks later. Many new parents share the digital pictures of their newborn babies just minutes after they come into the world. Even with one-hour photo developing, cameras that use film can’t compete.
Overall, digital cameras are more cost effective, more convenient, and a lot more fun than cameras that use film.
